This Cookie Policy ("Cookie Policy") is issued by Manais Global Solutions Private Limited, operating the "Wah Swaad" brand, and forms part of and is to be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. It explains how the Platform uses cookies, software development kits (SDKs), web beacons, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies when you visit www.wahswaad.com or use the Wah Swaad mobile application. Capitalised terms used but not defined herein have the meanings given to them in the Privacy Policy.

      1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device by websites, apps, online media, and advertisements when you visit or use them.

      • First-party cookies are served by Wah Swaad directly from our Platform domain.
      • Third-party cookies are served by our service providers or partners (such as analytics or advertising platforms) from domains other than our own.
      • Session cookies last only as long as your browser or app session is open and are deleted automatically when you close the browser.
      • Persistent cookies survive after your browser is closed. They may recognise your device when you return to the Platform.

      Similar technologies include:

      • Web beacons (also called pixels or tracking pixels): small blocks of code embedded in web pages or emails that retrieve certain information such as IP address, browser type, time of visit, and whether an email was opened.
      • Software Development Kits (SDKs): pieces of code embedded in our mobile application that function similarly to cookies and pixels in the app context.
      • Local storage: technology that allows the Platform to store information locally on your device to improve performance and functionality.

      2. Why We Use These Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

      • Authentication: to recognise you as a logged-in user, display account-specific information, and protect your session from unauthorised access.
      • Security and site integrity: to detect fraud, prevent account abuse, and maintain the security and integrity of the Platform.
      • Platform functionality: to remember your preferences and settings (such as language, delivery address, and notification choices), pre-fill information in forms, and enable features such as your cart and order tracking.
      • Analytics and performance: to understand how you use the Platform, which features you interact with, the popularity of content, and to improve the overall user experience. Analytics data is used in aggregated or pseudonymised form.
      • Personalisation: to provide relevant content, product suggestions, and personalised recommendations based on your browsing and order history on the Platform, where you have provided consent.
      • Advertising and marketing: to deliver relevant advertisements on the Platform and on third-party websites, measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, and limit the number of times you see the same advertisement. This applies only where you have provided consent to marketing communications.

      3. Types of Cookies We Use

      3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential to enable you to use the Platform and its features, including logging in, placing orders, and completing payments. The Platform cannot function properly without them. These cookies do not require your consent under applicable law.

      3.2 Preference or Functional Cookies

These cookies remember choices you make on the Platform (such as language preferences, delivery address, and notification settings) and provide a more personalised experience. Disabling these cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.

      3.3 Analytics and Performance Cookies

These cookies collect information about how visitors use the Platform, including which pages are most visited, error messages received, and how users navigate the site. The information is used to improve Platform performance. We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics for this purpose.

      3.4 Advertising and Tracking Cookies

These cookies are used to deliver advertisements relevant to your interests, on the Platform and on third-party websites. They may be set by our advertising partners and track your browsing activity across websites. We use advertising platforms such as Google and Meta (Facebook) for this purpose. These cookies require your explicit consent.
You may manage your choices for Preference, Analytics, and Advertising cookies through the Cookie Settings link in our Platform footer or via the cookie banner displayed upon your first visit.

      4. Third-Party Cookies

We engage the following categories of third-party service providers who may set cookies on your device through the Platform:

      • Google Analytics: collects information about Platform usage. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics Help pages.
      • Google Ads: for advertising and remarketing. For more information, see Google's Advertising Policy.
      • Meta (Facebook) Pixel: for advertising and event tracking. For more information, see Meta's Data Policy.
      • Google Maps SDK: Used to provide location-based services, vendor discovery, and real-time delivery tracking.
      • Payment Gateway SDKs: Used to facilitate secure, encrypted payment processing. These are Strictly Necessary for completing your transaction.

This is not an exhaustive list of all third-party analytics or advertising providers we work with. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties for more information about their data practices.

      5. Consent and Your Choices

When you first visit the Platform, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies (that is, all cookies other than strictly necessary cookies).

      • You may accept all cookies, accept only certain categories of cookies, or reject non-essential cookies entirely.
      • You may change your cookie preferences at any time by accessing the Cookie Settings option available on the Platform.
      • If you withdraw consent for non-essential cookies, this will not affect the validity of consent previously given.

In addition to the Platform's cookie preference controls, most internet browsers allow you to manage cookies through browser settings. You can usually find these settings in the Options or Preferences menu of your browser. Please refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions:

      • Cookie settings in Chrome
      • Cookie settings in Firefox
      • Cookie settings in Safari
      • Cookie settings in Microsoft Edge

Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect your experience on the Platform. For example, disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in or placing orders.
If you use multiple devices or browsers to access the Platform, you will need to manage your cookie preferences on each device and browser separately.

      6. Do Not Track

Some browsers include a Do Not Track feature that sends a signal to websites indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Currently, the Platform does not respond to Do Not Track signals. If a standardised approach is adopted by regulatory or industry bodies, we will review and update this Policy accordingly.

      7. Data Collected Through Cookies

Information collected through cookies and similar technologies may include your IP address, device identifier, browser type and version, operating system, the URL you accessed, the time and date of your visit, session duration, and interactions with the Platform. This information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. To the extent any information collected through cookies constitutes personal data, the provisions of our Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act, 2023 apply to such data.

      8. Retention of Cookie Data

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a period specified in the cookie, or until you delete them. The retention period for each category of cookie is set by the entity that places the cookie. We review the cookies used on the Platform periodically and update this Cookie Policy accordingly.
To the extent permitted by the technology, we ensure that information collected via third-party analytics cookies is anonymised or pseudonymised at the source. We conduct a quarterly 'Cookie Audit' to ensure that no expired or redundant tracking technologies remain active on the Platform.

      9. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, our business practices, or applicable law. The updated Cookie Policy will be published on the Platform with a revised Last Updated date.
